What do I need to bring the day of my procedure?
Surgical Patients
- Please bring insurance information and ID.
- Make sure you have a responsible driver to take you home (cannot be public transportation).
- Bring glasses, if needed.
- Bring guardianship papers, if applicable.
- Bring an interpreter with you, if needed.
- Do NOT wear nail polish, and remove all jewelry prior to arrival.
- You will be called the day before your procedure with the time and prep instructions.
- Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to get into after your surgery.
- All valuables should be left at home, including jewelry.
- Contact lenses may NOT be worn during surgery. Please bring your lens case.
GI Patients

All Pediatric Patients
- A parent or legal guardian is required to stay at the Center for the duration of the child’s stay, until discharge.
- Siblings are NOT allowed in PACU. Please bring another parent or adult to stay with other children.
- Please bring a sippy cup, extra diaper, toy, etc. for younger patients.
